Everyone is Doing the Best They Can

I recently worked on a project to give the homeless community of Arizona a voice. The picture above is me in Downtown Phoenix where many homeless people in the Valley have set up their make-shft homes. I was fortunate enough to be able to talk to four amazing women. These are their stories of how they got to where they are today. As I documented these stories and talked to other people in the homeless community, I noticed that a good amount of these people were in the situation they are in because of misfortune and the lack of support they had through this misfortune. I think we can all learn something from these stories. I know that the good majority of people in this world are doing the best they can with what they've got and if we can all understand that I think we have a good place to move forward with how we want to take actions on things that will benefit society as a whole.
